We are 30+ volunteers strong. Here you can begin to read about who they are, and why they tutor. Keep checking back for more introductions to our tutors.
Betty Deitz: The 4th of 5 siblings, I grew up on a family farm in Wisconsin, where in my high school years, I taught Sunday School. During my 2 years at Hope College in Holland, Michigan, my future husband I work with young children in a local church. The rest of my adult life has been in Guilderland, NY working with youth groups, teaching preschool classes and then working for 20 years as a tutor (TA) in the Guilderland High school. Other life long interests have been singing in choirs, mission opportunities, traveling and reading. Being part of the Wizard's Wardrobe has given me another opportunity to "learn" from the children I work with. They inspire me again to experience the world through their young eyes.
