TUTOR with us

“Reading is the foundation of education.  I love the children’s enthusiasm, dedication, and perseverance.”

Our tutors are a dedicated group of community members with one thing in common — the desire to give some of their time to make a child feel like they are the center of their attention.

By supporting the Wizard's Wardrobe you are bringing the magic of reading, and helping build a stronger foundation of learning, to a child in the South End of Albany. Increase your impact by becoming  a sustaining donor and setting up a recurring monthly contribution! Monthly giving allows you to spread out your gift - and allows the Wizard's Wardrobe to count on your support all year long!

Donors like you helped us provide more than 2,000 volunteer hours of direct tutoring, 1,300 hours of volunteer program development and management, and the numerous creative literary and STEM resources we use to enrich learning. As we grow, we thank you for your continued support!
